Penn Chalet

The Penn Chalet is located in the amenity-filled community of Penn Estates in East Stroudsburg Pa. Enjoy the open space of a 3-level chalet-style house with multiple games and get comfortable in our sauna or sit around the firepit with your family and friends. Centrally located and only 90 minutes from NYC or Philadelphia, this chalet is the escape you've been looking forward to.

The space

Penn Estates is centrally located in the Poconos area. This chalet is located on a quiet cul de sac, on a corner lot with plenty of space all around the house. The main community center, equipped with an outdoor pool, children's playground, basketball, tennis, volleyball courts and soccer and baseball fields, is a half mile distance, about a 15-20 min walk or a 3 minute drive and the closest lake is the same distance but in the opposite direction, with the last lake having a beach and a playground as well about a 4 min drive or 20-25 min walk.

The chalet features super high-speed Wi-Fi throughout and 3 smart TVs, multiple indoor games such as a pool table, table tennis, professional size darts, foosball table and quite a few classic table games. For relaxation, we recommend our infrared Sauna and if you like to entertain your group with a tasty barbeque, there is a Grill on the back porch with a covered porch if you want to enjoy outdoors but away from the elements. A short walk will take you to the Adirondack chairs to gather round the firepit for added fun.

All the bedrooms have been furnished keeping comfort and practicality in mind, they are spacious and fun colored, as we hope you enjoy the time spent in them to relax and refresh for your fun filled trip. On the main floor, is a master bedroom that has 2 Queen size beds, with a 2 way access bathroom where you will find a bright jetted tub right under a skylight window.

On the 3rd floor you will find 2 bedrooms with high ceilings that both have a Queen bed each, while one of them has a private deck overlooking the back deck, and at the top of the staircase is a cozy loft that has a comfortable extensible sofa.

The lowest floor is the main game room with a huge space for fun, a full bathroom and the sauna.

We provide clean linens and towels along with essential toiletries for your stay, hairdryer and iron and its respective board.

Our kitchen is stocked with the necessary items to cook as often as you like, unless you feel like dining out, for which there is a plethora of options in the immediate area.

The driveway can easily accommodate cars.

Inventory is taken after each stay. Please keep that in mind as you make use of the towels, sheets and pillows. If one of them becomes misplaced or is damaged, homeowner will hold you accountable.

Guest access

Guests have access to the entire home with the exception of the garage and lower level bathroom closet, which are used as personal storage by hosts.

Other things to note

- 10 badges provided for amenities including the outdoor pool. Please do not lose, misplace or damage, or you will be charged $50 per badge if any of them is missing
- Trash gets picked up every Monday early morning, please be mindful if you're staying through or checking out on Sunday, we kindly ask that you take the provided bins out by the driveway and if you're checking out on Monday, please bring them back to their spot.
- Inventory is taken after each stay, if there are any items missing or damaged such as furniture, games, devices etc, homeowner will hold you accountable.
- Homeowner kindly asks all of our guests to leave the shoes by the door while staying with us.
- The day of check-in you will be provided with the lock pad code that provides access to the house. Please be sure to only use the lock pad when locking the door if you step out during your stay. The bottom lock requires a key that is not on property and you risk getting locked outside. Please remember to only use the lock with the keypad.
